As a follow up of the more conservative ASICS TIGER X-CALIBER GT, the ASICS GT II was designed in the US and inspired by race cars. Also α-Gel was used in the GEL-FREAKS before, the GT II was the 1st shoes released with this new shock absorption technology. Still fresh in my trainee ship, these are some of my early GT II color ways.
